I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

This year I have so much to be thankful for, and it all started with my precious baby girl!
It was my baby’s first thanksgiving so I went all out for my princess! I couldn’t find a little table small enough for her anywhere, and to be honest the little booster seats that comes with a table, was not what I envisioned.

Subsequently mama had to get creative! I used an empty box of wipes (sniff sniff her 2nd to last box from her baby shower) and I cut out a little section for her to put her little legs through. I put a blanket over the bottom section I didn’t cut all the way because I figure the table will be more stable, an secure. I did put a blanket over that section so it wouldn’t irritate my baby’s leg.

you would have never knew it was a diaper box!

My mom had some super cute tablecloth; I fold them in half and place on the box of wipes and Bam!! I had a table! As for the decorations I used Jayda baby shower centerpieces!

Yes I did!

Yes Prince had a turkey too, and I helped him eat it!

My dog prince had a little turkey too, I did not want my other baby to get jealous  so you know their was no way I was going to leave prince out!(very protective of Jayda, but jealous as well) I did remove the skin off prince turkey, and he only ate a small portion of the breast,

My Princess was one happy baby! After taking a couple pictures her grandma puree her little turkey with some carrots and potatoes, she ate good!
Getting that turkey leg out of her hands though… she gave me the business, had the tightest grip ever, but I didn’t want her to choke on a piece of meat so little mama just had to shed a tear for that one.

bon-appetite Princess!!

As for our Table this year we did not go all out, my father was in Dominican republic, my little brother was out putting in some community service hours for school, and the oldest one was at work, my other cousin did not come down for thanksgiving since he’s coming down for Christmas break…. a lot of people was missing this year, but we kept the tradition, cooking and eating together as a family (at least the ones who showed up).  All the ladies in one kitchen, making things happen! I cherish these little moments, and look forward to them every year!

My baby’s first thanksgiving was a success!

I hope everyone had a safe thanksgiving! If you cant figure out what you’re thankful for, start with the fact that you woke up today and you’re alive!
Happy Holidays!

What are you thankful for?
